Anisa Bridal is committed to digital accessibility. We strive to make our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement describes the current status, known limitations and how to get in touch with us if you encounter a problem.

About This Statement

This website operates in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013.

We aim to conform to the Israeli Standard IS 5568 at level AA, based on WCAG 2.1 guidelines.

What Is Accessible

• Full keyboard navigation across all pages, with visible focus indicators.
• Semantic HTML structure (landmarks, navigation regions, hierarchical headings) for easier screen reader navigation.
• Compatibility with major screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) through native HTML semantics and ARIA labels on icon-only controls.
• Alternative text on photographs; temporary placeholder blocks are visually and programmatically labelled while the final imagery is being prepared.
• Colour contrast meeting WCAG AA — the site uses a conservative palette of near-black text on a white background.
• Text resizes up to 200% in the browser without loss of content or functionality.
• Responsive layout from desktop (1440 px) down to mobile (375 px).
• Reduced-motion support: decorative animations are softened or disabled when the operating system requests reduced motion.
• Forms with associated labels, autocomplete hints and clear validation messages.
• The header search overlay supports keyboard navigation: down/up arrow keys step through results, Enter opens the selected result, and Escape closes. Results are exposed as an ARIA listbox so the active option is announced to assistive technologies.
• Favorite (heart) toggle buttons on dress cards announce their pressed/unpressed state via aria-pressed, so assistive technologies indicate when a dress is in your wishlist; the count badge in the header is hidden from screen readers when it is zero.

Known Accessibility Limitations

• The site is currently available in English only; a Hebrew (RTL) version is not yet available.
• The embedded Google Maps frame on the contact page is provided by a third party and may not fully meet WCAG criteria.
• Links to external social media platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram) lead to content governed by those platforms’ own accessibility practices, which are beyond our control.
• Some imagery on the site is still represented by placeholder blocks while final photography is being produced; alternative text will be enriched as the real assets are added.

Ongoing Work

Accessibility is treated as a continuous effort rather than a one-time audit. We review the website periodically and address new issues as part of regular maintenance. Feedback from users is the most valuable input we receive, so please do contact us if something on the site does not work for you.
